Cell design

6 x 6 grid (thirty-six cells).

  • Magnet sensor (figurine hold detection and orientation)
  • NFC reader (NTAG-class chip identification)
  • RGBW LED (per-cell light cue)

Construction status: TBD

Figurines

Chip class: NTAG-class (precise SKU recorded per production run).

Starter set: TBD

Third-party authoring: Open figurine ID space; partner game authors can register figurine families into their game definitions.

Connectivity

Primary: Local mesh between the board, the FrameBright app, and the FrameBright Smart TV app

Protocol: TBD

Latency target: Local round-trip under 80ms board-to-screen for live game state

Offline mode: Single-player and parent-paired play work fully offline

Power

Primary: USB-C wired power

Battery: TBD

Pairing flow

  1. Plug board in
  2. Open FrameBright app on iPad or phone
  3. Approve pairing in app (one-tap)
  4. Optional: open FrameBright Smart TV app on a paired TV; the TV joins the local mesh once the board is paired with the household

Partner integration points

Third-party game authors can target the gameboard through a published game-definition format. Each game declares its figurine families, beat sequence, board lighting cues, screen-side render targets, and any AEGIS classification policies for generated content. The SDK status is TBD.
